an epidemic

False timesheets. Some get prosecuted, some, like Robert Fitzsimmons, Tal Rappleyea, Barrett Mack, Hoag, and Andrew Howard, get away with criminal activity, even though the District Attorney, Paul Czajka, and CCBOS Chair Patrick Grattan absolutely know that the activity is ongoing.





Patrick M. Grattan has at least four (4) jobs in addition to work in private practice. He is the Chairman of the CCBOS, Supervisor of the Town of Kinderhook, the designated Valatie village attorney, and law clerk for George J. Pulver, Jr., Greene County Surrogate's Court.

Robert J. Fitzsimmons, County Attorney, has at least five (5) jobs. He is the head of the County Attorney Office, appointed by the CCBOS. CA claims wages of $53 per hour for 6 hours a day work. CA is also the lead attorney of Fitzsimmons, Mack and Mills, a Kinderhook law firm. Fitzsimmons is the attorney for the Kinderhook Village, the town of Claverack, and the village of Philmont, until recently the town of Taghkanic.

 Brent R. Stack is an assistant county attorney, claiming work for the County Attorney office 7 hours a day at pay rate of $37 per hour. Stack also works private practice under CA at Fitzsimmons, Mack and Mills under Fitzsimmons.

Charles E. Hoag is an assistant county attorney, claiming work 6 hours per day at $27 per hour. Hoag is also a Claverack town judge and has a private practice.

Tal Rappleyea has as many as fourteen (14) jobs in 2011 and 2012. He is or was until early 2012 an assistant county attorney, claiming work 6 hours per day at $27 per hour. Rappleyea was in 2011 or is in 2012 the designated town attorney for Durham, Ashland, Athens, Prattsville, Lexington, Germantown, Cairo, Stuyvesant, Austerlitz, Copake, Chatham, Greenville, and Jewett.

Barrett Mack is an assistant county attorney, claiming 6 hours per day at $27 per hour. Mack is also in private practice with Fitzsimmons at Fitzsimmons, Mack and Mills.

Andrew Howard has at least five (5) jobs in addition to work for private law clients. He is deputy county attorney, claims to work 6 hours per day at $43.50 per hour. Howard is designated town attorney in the Kinderhook town, Clermont, Caanan, and New Lebanon.

Clarissa Garvey, assistant county attorney, claims 7 hours per day at $37 per hour.
